Terms of Use

1. Your account

• You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use only your own account.
• Dating is a separate 18+ experience. You may not access or create a Dating profile if you are under 18.
• We may require age or identity verification for Dating and safety features. Verification does not guarantee another member's identity, intent, or conduct.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly tell us it has been compromised.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Alter only for lawful, personal purposes and in accordance with our Community Standards. You may not scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, automate abusive activity, evade limits or enforcement, impersonate another person, defraud members, upload unlawful material, or use Alter to exploit, threaten, harass, or harm anyone.

Sexual exploitation or abuse of children, child sexual abuse material, grooming, trafficking, and attempts to sexualize or contact minors are prohibited. See our Child Safety Standards.

3. Product boundaries

Horoscope and compatibility

Horoscope, birth-chart, numerology, compatibility, and similar content is for reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other professional advice and does not guarantee outcomes.

Quiz and Games

Scores and leaderboards use Alter's official rules and server-known answers. Attempts to manipulate results may be excluded. Alter+ does not change scoring, ranking, or leaderboard eligibility.

Dating

Dating availability depends on age assurance, automated safety services, and any global or geographic emergency pause. Alter does not promise matches, responses, compatibility, or the conduct of another member. Use care online and in person, and use report or block tools when needed.

4. Your content and safety actions

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Alter a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, display, and transmit it only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and legally support the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, subject to backups, shared interactions, safety evidence, and legal retention described in the Privacy Policy.

We may remove content; limit reach or functionality; pause Dating globally or geographically; suspend or close accounts; preserve limited evidence; and report matters to providers or authorities when reasonably required for safety, integrity, law, or these terms. Eligible decisions may be challenged through our appeals process.

5. Alter+, availability, and changes

Alter+ store purchases are not currently enabled. Authorized administrators may assign time-limited test or courtesy access without a charge or renewal. When Google Play billing launches, prices, eligibility, taxes, trials, renewal timing, cancellation, and refunds will be governed by the store information shown at purchase and our Subscription Terms. Safety access, reporting, blocking, age assurance, game scoring, and Dating discovery rank are never sold.

Features may change, be unavailable, or be discontinued as the product develops. We may update these terms, with additional notice when required. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the updated terms.

6. Disclaimers and contact

Alter is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. No online service is free from interruptions, errors, misuse, or security risk. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

To delete your account, follow the account-deletion instructions. Questions may be sent to support@alter-app-lab.com without including passwords, identity documents, or unnecessary private messages.
